Full Job Description

Inventory Analyst

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for providing inventory count and planning services. This includes monitoring, tracking, and reporting on inventory scheduled and on hand as well as working with on site management to plan for future inventory needs.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support integrated business planning and inventory update process development, adoption, and maturity within the T-H Marine family of companies
  • Drive the overall inventory plan setting process, monitoring performance, and following through on resulting actions with location managers and Finance
  • Document inventory discrepancies such as missing or mislabeled items
  • Work with Procurement, Accounting, and Operations to track prepaid and imported inventory for proper reporting
  • Develop loss mitigation processes and protocols
  • Use computerized inventory software to record, track, and maintain all inventory related data
  • Develop, implement, and monitor processes for controlling and exactly reporting inventory
  • Manage the material supply chain to make sure production schedules are met
  • Conduct trend analysis on inventory management and identify and resolve any problems affecting inventory performance
  • Work across various internal stakeholders and lead teams to ensure inventory inputs are consistent
  • Present inventory recommendations, drive timely decisions and ensure clear and concise communications to all stakeholders in the supply chain

    Required Qualifications / Skills / Abilities:

    • US work authorization (Required)
    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (Required)
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related education field or 2 years’ experience (Preferred)
    • Experience in NetSuite is preferred
    • Experience in Microsoft Office
