Lid and Hatch Support Springs

SKU: HS-1-DP
$60.00

These stainless spring steel lid supports are designed to secure and hold lids, hatches, and covers in an open position. The spring easily bends to close, offering convenient support for various applications.

  • Supports lids or covers weighing between 10 to 20 lbs.
  • Features a stainless steel spring that snaps into position for easy opening.
  • Available in multiple configurations, including versions with restraint cables to prevent overextension.

Features

  • Stainless Spring Steel
  • Bends to Close
  • Supports 10 to 20 lb. Lids

These lid, hatch or instrument cover supports feature a stainless steel spring that snaps straight to a support position when opened.

The stainless steel spring then supports the lid, hatch or cover in the open position.

When closing simply bend the spring which allows spring to fold and rotate at the mounting positions.

"C" versions have an internal stainless cable for applications where overextension of spring could occur.

REPLACED ORIGINAL

This item was the exact replacement for the one used when the previous owner restored my 1971 24' sailboat boat in 2012. Perfect fit using the same screws and bolts!

Wrong bases of the Springs

Wrong bases of the Springs. The springs you sent me were the correct length but the bases were different so the holes didn’t match up in my cabinet. I don’t want to re-drill holes so I can’t use what you sent me. If you had sent me the springs that were in the picture I clicked on they would’ve been correct.

Latch Springs

Got them really quick. Purchased some previously. Work well on my boat.
