Before checking out the information listed below, please note that most (if not all) other Troll-Tamer compatibility guides are general guidance based on trolling motor brand, trolling motor model, boat brand, and boat model. However, to get you the best fit and the right Troll-Tamer model, we are now recommending that you simply gather three simple pieces of information:
- Know your trolling motor brand (MotorGuide, Minn Kota, Lowrance, Garmin, etc -- we're working on the Garmin application information right now)
- Know your trolling motor model
- Measure the spacing between the bottom of the trolling motor mount and the deck of your boat (this is where the Troll-Tamer will install).
(Please refer to the picture on this page for the correct place of measurement. This distance "X" should then be used to see which Troll-Tamer product has the range of distances that covers that distance.)
Once you know these three pieces of information, it should be a breeze to follow the chart below. Whether you have a Bass Cat, a Legend, a Nitro, a Phoenix, a Ranger, a Skeeter, a Stratos, a Triton, a Vexus, or any other boat brand, you can count on T-H Marine's Troll-Tamer Trolling Motor Stabilizer Lock to securely hold your trolling motor in place and prevent damage to the trolling motor and boat.
Our latest models (RMC-108-DP and RMC-109-DP) even feature a clamp-on shaft bracket to work with the latest in digital, wireless bow mount trolling motors, including the Minn Kota Terrova, Auto Pilot, and Riptide models, as well as the Motor Guide Xi5.
