A foot control switch for manually operated (hand controlled) trolling motors that provides the convenience of turning the motor on by simply pressing down on the switch with your foot without having to reach the trolling motor head. Bad item!

I've bought 3 of these in 6 years, with occational use. Maybe snake-bit, but eventually had to roll foot over, press too hard, then took out. Must be sensitive contacts. I reported to Customer Service, and they finally offered only $10 off next one, but shipping was more than half that. I bought a momentary switch like a sewing machine, or shop foot switch for elec tools, but wires are 10 amp & too small for 24 volt trolling motor...cost more to rewire. So I am buying 1 more TH Marine one, but the next review will be worse if I don't get more years out of it @ over $33 each.

Trolling motor switch

So far so good, just waiting to see how long they will last after hours of use. But i do like them. I really think i will enjoy the ease of operating my trolling motor with them.

tough as nails

Have this switch operating a 12 volt, 55lb thrust motor. Still going strong after 4 years of 2 times per week use! It deserves more than 5 stars!
