    Adjustment specifications

With the Micro Jacker in place, you will have about 8.5" to work with in height. This includes 1.5" of adjustment at the transom, another 1.0" on the motor side, 1.0" of adjustment with the motor, and 5" of hydraulic lift with the Micro Jacker itself.

Horsepower note: To the best of T-H Marine's knowledge, Honda has the only 115 horsepower outboard that exceeds 425 pound dry weight. Therefore, the ATLAS Micro cannot be used with Honda's 115 HP outboard. This is based on publicly available internet specifications on outboard manufacturer websites know to T-H Marine as of 4/9/2014.

Purchaser should assure that their outboard does not exceed either 115 horsepower or 425 pounds, regardless of outboard manufacturer, model, or production date.

Awesome tool has given me acccess to some great new fishing grounds with some unexpected benefits

I've owned the TH/Atlas Micro Jack for around 2 years going on three. I'm able to get my 88 40hp Johnson, 16ft Alumacraft flat boat up to 35mph/gps, top engine speed- 5000 RPM with myself and one passenger-400lbs, with the normal legal kit, full 6 gal tank and one 15lb anchor. Gaining 4mph top end. An added benefit was the fuel savings, I am able to get about 2-3 more miles per tank, depending on conditions . I have to say that I can operate the boat. safely, through 2-2.5 ft water at high speed. If I were to slow down I'd get struck in the mud and have to plow my way out, possibly damaging the old motor.
If you don't have a jack plate on your river rig I'd get one it's like buying a new boat for a lot less of an investment. It's a great idea if your re-powering your boat too.

    Nice jack plate.....but

My Atlas Micro Jacker has served me faithfully, but suddenly it does not operate smoothly as it goes up and down. In fact, I'm reluctant to use it now --which is a shame. I don't have an owner's manual, so I don't know if I should be doing some sort of maintenance. It's mated to a Yamaha F50 outboard that weighs in at 254 pounds -- well below the jack plate's maximum. So, I would have given it a 5 star rating, but I'll go with 4 stars until I figure out if there is "operator error" involverd or if the unit is at fault.
