This 2.2lb (1kg) galvanized steel plow anchor is the preferred anchor choice for coastal and near-shore fishermen. The plow shaped design allows the anchor to dig easily into the sand, silt, and muddy bottoms. Note* - It is recommended to use at least 3 times the depth of water as the length of your anchor rope in calm waters and 4 to 5 times the depth of the water in choppy waters or windy conditions.
