6th one I have purchased.

Love the style and never had an issue. This last one that I had purchased, lacked the quality like the first 5. The holes in the latch handle, cam lock where the roll pins are could have been deburred.
2 of the latches when locked in place had slop in them, you could tell when you turned the latch and engaged the cam lock ……no resistance.
I don’t want to sound petty but I compared this hatch to the other 5 which were flawless!!
The location in which it’s being used it will work fine.
All in all I like the product, I love the idea of a
removable hatch.

Replacement hatch

Excellent quality and much better function as a replacement for my old 'pie plate' screw top hatch.

Keep trying

I love working with the company but The hatch is not waterproof. It leaks where the 4 latches are and the seal around the lid is inadequate. Needs a large o-ring to seal out water. Was hoping it would work better than the lid series.
